George Washington is our first President. He was also in war and a soldier. George was born February the 22 of 1732. He died December 14 of 1799. If he was alive today he would be 290. He is 271 years older than me. His wife, Martha D. Custis, was born in 1732 and died in 1802. They were married on January the 6 of 1759. When George be came president he was 57 years old (April 30, 1789). Did you know that he had smallpox during his late teens?
